🌟 309 Youth Graduate in Digital Empowerment Program

On 27 June 2025, the Charlestown Community Hall was alive with excitement as 309 young people proudly graduated from the Computer Skills and Digital Entrepreneurship Program.

This life-changing initiative was delivered by The Difference Makers Youth Organization, Sakhisizwe Production Youth Project, and SUKUMUZENZELE, in partnership with the NYDA, NYS, and with special thanks to the Charlestown DSD Office and Newcastle DSD District Office.

The program equipped participants with essential digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge to prepare them for opportunities in today’s technology-driven world.

Program Facilitator, Buhle Ngwenya, shared heartfelt words with the graduates:

“It has been such a wonderful journey with these young champions. Today is a celebration of their commitment and hard work. I want to sincerely thank all the parents and guardians who supported their children to reach this milestone—your encouragement made this achievement possible.”

The graduation wasn’t just the end of a program—it was the beginning of new possibilities. With certificates in hand and confidence in their hearts, the graduates are now ready to embrace the digital future.
